Recommended Cockpit setup for =RAF= Pilots:

1.) From AW Setup click on 'User Preferences.'
2.) Click on the 'Flight Window' tab:
2a. Screen Modes Allowed; 'Allow All Modes'
2b. Flight Screen Resolution; '640 x 480'
2c. View Optimization; 'Optimize Normal Mode'
2d. Tagging (F3); 'Use Abbreviated Range' and 'Tag Enemy's Only'
2e. Tracking Icons; No Selection.
3.) Click on the 'Cockpit Display' tab:
3a. Colors; Select 'Lead Computing Sight, 'Bore Sight', 'Tracers' (I use 'Yellow' for all except 'Tracers')
3b. Cockpit Art; Select 'Full - Realistic'
3c. Instruments; Select 'Stick Box'
4.) Click on the 'Performance' tab:
4a. For all online flying I use only 2D settings (2D will give highest frame rates)
5.) Click on the 'Advanced' tab:
5a. Plane Shape Caching; Select 'Load Common Planes At ... Maximum Visibility 5000 Yards.'
6.) Return to 'Main Field'

These settings are not necessarily the rule but, they are a good starting point for those just starting out in AW or having a difficult time with their current Cockpit settings.
