News Flash - From The Front...

Date line Med Pac: 1100 hours Sept.04 2000 ...off the south western coast of Sub.

=RAF= Pilot UNK whilst cruising around in his trusty Hog (hoglette) bringing doom and gloom to the nefarious AZ hordes, looking down at his fuel gauge notices in dismay that he only has 3% fuel left in his tanks! Closest friendly base is KIM, altitude 8k Humm, =RAM= is to the west and low, heading for an AZ Oscar south east of KIM, markers are up at KIM as the AZ been trying to take it. "SUB is neutral right... now, where do I go?" UNK, being the greedy type; learning this habit from his Skipper BP CO, =BFD=, has 5 AZ scalps on his
belt, 2 pony's, a Hog, Cat and Nik, plus 8 previous landed kills,! "Damn, I got to Land these scalps!"
So I gets on my handy dandy radio and asks if I can land at a neutral base and, have it counted as landed kills? The answer being in the affirmative, UNK is one happy camper! So, I turn and start my descent to Sub, thinking all sorts of happy thoughts and being quite proud of myself :)
I angle in for the runway, wheels down, one notch flaps down, fixing to lower flaps as I approach... piece of cake, I can do this blindfolded and, so, am sitting back thinking... (who say's Pigs ("Hogs") cant fly--snicker, snicker.
AND BOOOOMMMM!!!!! (_*$%&_%$(&$_@*& <------ mild expletive :( ACK KILLS DA DUMMY Whhhaaaaaaaa!!!!!!
